Kick-off Meeting of the MISS4Health Erasmus+ Project in Lithuania

Last week, consortium members of the “Micro-credentials in Soft Skills for Healthcare Professionals and Students” (MISS4Health) project held an in person kick off meeting in Kaunas (Lithuania). The MISS4Health project, with reference nr. ID 2023-1-CZ01-KA220-HED-000159335, within the call for Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education, counts with a budget of 400.000€ and is co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Union.  Its aim is to improve competences in soft skills using a modular Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) based on micro-credentials at EU level that certificates these competences and the pedagogical value of the MOOC. This way, Higher Education and Vocational Education Training institutions will have the opportunity to offer shorter, more flexible, accredited programs.

The project partners were happy to meet and discuss live the project activities that will be carried out throughout the project during this two-day meeting. The agenda included overview of work packages, what a micro-credential is and how it could be issued within online learning, management issues, quality assessment, dissemination and communication and overview of responsibilities of each partner, assuring that active efforts will be done to achieve high impact and high-quality results.

MISS4Health counts on seven partner organisations, University of Hradec Králové from Czech Republic, the project leader, and the consortium members: Foundation Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (Spain), Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), Turiba University (Latvia), Viral Studios (Spain), University of Rijeka (Croatia), and Charles University (Czech Republic).
